keys Programming
When
- Keys added or replaced.
How
NOTE: Two programmed keys must be available for the following procedure to operate.
- Obtain all keys
NOTE: Any existing keys not used during programming will become inoperative.
- Using first programmed key, proceed as follows:
o Turn ignition switch ON ad wait 5 seconds, return to OFF position and remove key.
o Within 7 seconds insert second programmed key and switch ignition ON.
o Ensure immobilizer warning lamp flashes twice.
- If not, repeat procedure starting from the beginning.
- Switch ignitions OFF and remove key.
- For each additional new key proceed as follows:
o Insert new key and switch ignition ON within 7 seconds of last key removed.
o Wait a few seconds.
o Ensure immobilizer warning lamp illuminates for 3 seconds indicating programming complete.
- If not repeat procedure starting from the beginning.
- Replacement keys can also be programming using diagnostic equipment.
NOTE: a maximum of 8 keys can be programmed.

How
NOTE: two programmed key transmitters must be available for the following procedure to operate
· Obtain all keys
· Using first programmed key, proceed as follows:
o Turn ignition switch ON and wait 3 seconds, return to OFF position and remove key.
o Insert second programmed key and switch ignition ON
o Wait approximately 10 seconds.
· Ensure immobilizer warning lamp begins to flash and an acoustic signal is emitted.
· Switch ignition OFF and remove key.
· Within 60 seconds, Insert new key and switch ignition ON.
o Wait approximately 10 seconds.
o Ensure acoustic signal is emitted and immobilizer warning lamp remains illuminated for 3 seconds indicating programming complete.
· For each additional key repeat procedure starting from the beginning.
· Replacement keys can also be programmed using diagnostic equipment.
NOTE: A maximum of 6 key can be programmed.
